The barrage of leaked Sony emails and documents continued this morning and they included pitch ideas surrounding Kanye West and Destiny's Child. The first email, which was dated on Aug. 4, features a conversation between Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal and 'Ye's creative director, Elon Rutberg, in which they discuss the possibility of some sort of full-length feature film with Kanye somehow involved.

"I supervise all of Kanye's film and media projects, and we have a major film project coming up that involves both cinematic and technological innovation, so I naturally thought Sony and wanted to reach out," Rutberg wrote in the email. "We premiered a multi-screen cinema experience to great response at Cannes 2012, and are looking to take the storytelling to the next level with a feature length film, shot for an immersive cinema experience."

Based on the above email, it seems that 'Ye and his team were possibly pitching the idea for the long-awaited Yeezus feature film to Sony, though that is not confirmed. Kanye first announced the Yeezus film back in February, though there has been really no new news on the project since then.

In another email from Aug. 7, which included Pascal, Seth Rogen, film producer James Weaver, and director Evan Goldberg, the group discussed plans for a Kanye cameo in a Christmas film starring Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt that is slated to be released in 2015. The detailed promo is apparently slated to go along with Rogen's upcoming film, The Interview, in which Rogen, JGL, and Anthony Mackie will reenact the piano floor scene from Big, but with Kanye instead. The Interview is slated to drop on Christmas Day, so it will be interesting to see if this idea actually came to fruition.

"We have a specific idea to attach to THE INTERVIEW that will crush. Seth, Joe, and [Anthony] Mackie reenacting the scene from BIG on the floor piano at FAO Schwartz with KANYE WEST. It's fucking awesome."

In non-Kanye Sony news, an email from De. 4, 2013 between Pascal, Screen Gems CEO Clint Culpepper, and other Sony execs, reveals that Matthew Knowles had pitched the idea of a Destiny's Child biopic to the studio. Though nothing concrete was decided it seems, the studio seemed interested in the possibility in a biopic of the group at the time. It's worth nothing, that there is a Lifetime biopic on Destiny's Child currently in the works that is set to air in February of 2015, though it isn't known if this is the same idea that Matthew Knowles originally pitched to the studio.
