Miami native QuESt has seen plenty of success come his way in 2014, especially following the release of his very personal album, Searching Sylvan, back in September. Looking to end the year on a high note, QuESt debuts his new loose track, "Decades," while also announcing his official departure from Visionary Music Group, which is the current home of Logic and Jon Bellion. In his official statement on leaving VMG, which can be read in full below, QuESt speaks highly of the label and the time that he spent with them, but also mentions that they key to his overall growth as an artist is to move on.

The record, which is produced by Thelonious Martin and released to celebrate QuESt reaching 30,000 followers on Twitter, features QuESt in his lyrical element, as the vibes in and out of a fast-paced flow over the ghostly production while rapping about his hard work ethic and come up. The hunger of QuESt is evident throughout, as he spits, "Let's address this shit in the proper fashion, it's no relaxing, we'll act as if I'm the don, but I won't play the undercard you expect me to grace upon, I'm running out of bars for any n***a doubting." The record and statement can be found below.

"Visionary Music Group has always been a label I have admired & still do admire to this day. My time with them has been amazing, & I have learned a great deal that will always remain with me no matter where I go. However, as life progresses, so does your growth as a person.

With that being said, I am no longer a part of Visionary Music Group. I have made a decision to move forward without them, & focus on myself & my brand. There are absolutely no ill feelings towards anyone over there. I love them all & cherish everything that they have done for me. This is a decision I have made in order for me to continue growing as an artist & as a brand the way I see fit. To my supporters, understand that I love you, & this is truly just the beginning.

There is much more in store. Thank you for rocking with me this far. I hope you can all continue this ride that we are on, because I don't intend on stopping anytime soon. And if you feel that this is your stop, & you need to get off this train, then thank you for coming along for the ride. You are appreciated. WiseUp. Sincerely, - QuESt"
