The Weeknd releases the official music video for "Earned It," which is one of his two contributions to the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. For the video, Abel linked with Sam Taylor-Johnson to direct, as she also directed the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film, as well as the 2009 John Lennon film, Nowhere Boy. The tone of the video matches the intense sexual nature of the song, as Abel first watches girls practice for a show, before he joins them on stage for a closer experience. The film's soundtrack, which also features Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding, Sia, and more, is set to drop on February 10 and is available for pre-order here, while the film hits theaters on February 13.
