For their final album as a group, TLC has launched a kickstarter to fund the project, and further involve their fans in the process. "We wouldn’t dream of making our final album with anyone BUT our fans. Come on y'all, BE A PART OF TLC HISTORY!," T-Boz and Chilli said via the kickstarter website. The album is still untitled and does not yet have a release date, but the group has already raised over $100,000 of the initial $150,000 goal on the website.

While it will only be T-Boz and Chilli recording the music, they did assure their fans that the spirit of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes will be with them through the entire process. The group's last official album together, 3D, was released in 2002, just seven months after the heartbreaking death of Lopes in a car accident.

As part of the kickstarter process, TLC is offering their fans a number perks when they donate money for the album. For example, fans that donate $100 will receive a signed vinyl copy of the album when it's released, while fans that donate $350 will receive personalized phone calls from T-Boz and Chilli, plus the signed vinyl and a TLC scrapbook. Now, if you're like Katy Perry and really want to get involved, you can donate upwards of $5,000 to the cause and get invited to the TLC slumber party with Chilli in Atlanta or with T-Boz in Los Angeles.
