The mansion from Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" video wasn't meant to last forever. Last week the Winfield Mansion, built in 1916 in Long Island, was "irreparably damaged" by a fire that took "around 150 firefighters" two and half hours to put out. Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
According to locals, the house has been haunted since long before TSwift dropped the lines "So it's gonna be forever or it's gonna go down in flames." Frank Winfield Woolworth built the house for his family after their previous home burned down. A year later his second daughter took her own life and has reportedly been lingering since.
Perhaps Swift was possessed by the ghost when she delivered a performance that made me second-guess ever getting into another relationship.
