As we keenly predicted, the initial lineup announcement for Wayhome Music & Arts Festival took place yesterday evening at Toronto’s Great Hall. Attendees of the launch event were treated to a free pass to the festival, which is set to take place July 24th, 25th, and 26th in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, just north of Barrie.

Wayhome is co-presented by the founder of Bonaroo, and promises a weekend of music, food, arts, film, and camping, or in their words, a “kaleidoscope of sound, smell, colour, and spectacle.” Weekend passes range from $209.99 to $289.99, and can be purchased here beginning on February 16th.

The lineup is a diverse intersection of genres—headliners Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, and Alt-J will be joined by an onslaught of buzz bands, Canadian favourites, and yes, even Christian nu-metal outfit Thousand Foot Krutch.
