Mick Jenkins' Water[s] mixtape was widely considered one of the best projects of 2014, and its success almost immediately catapulted Jenkins to a whole other level in the industry. Today, Mick Jenkins returns with the debut of his single titled "Alchemy," the first track off of his highly-anticipated forthcoming project, Wave[s].

If you're doubtful about his talents, "Alchemy" will change that, as Jenkins takes on this Lee Bannon-produced single with a brash confidence in his voice that pours out through vivid lyrics. With a clear message to the competition, Jenkins raps, "Flooded the market, murdering flows it's blood on the carpet, a crime scene, gave him the light, wait til I turn on high beams, ni***s ain't seeing me." For Wave[s], which drops sometime soon, Jenkins also teamed with painter Hayveyah McGowan, who's doing a 30x30 painting for each song on the project based on the feelings she gets while listening to the music.
