As the wait for Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment's debut project, Surf, continues, the band's leader teams up with Jean Deaux on her new single, "Stay." Deaux, who has already appeared next to the likes of Isaiah Rashad and Mick Jenkins, possesses light soulful vocals that seemingly glide across the snail paced Donnie's production. You can hear the longing in her voice, as she calls out for her lover to not leave her. Donnie's beautiful keys add another layer of emotion to the entire experience. Jean is prepping her next project, Soular System [vol. II], which is due out soon.
