Lil Jon Spoke To Students at Oxford University Earlier Today

He shared thoughts on Obama's administration, The East Side Boyz and more.

Back in March, Kanye West spoke to students at Oxford University about everything from Steve Jobs to race relations, his "All Day" video, and much more. But today, The Oxford Guild turned things up a notch and brought Lil Jon to speak to an exclusive audience at Exeter College. The inimitable crunk legend spoke on Barack Obama's administration, where the fuck The Eastside Boyz are, and how he takes care of his voice, among other things. Thanks to The Tab Oxford and The Independent, you can read some excerpts below until there's any video or audio of the event.

On his initial reaction to being invited to Oxford:

“I thought it was a joke. Am I being catfished? I was kind of speechless after I realized it was real. Thank you for having me, this is great. I've never been to a college and spoke.

On President Obama's administration:

“I think Obama's done a great job. It takes time to restore an old historic car - you can't just do it overnight. That's how I look at the administration that came before Obama. He put a new engine in it, he put some new rims, got a paint job. He's criticized, and at the end of today it's because he's black. The numbers don't lie - unemployment is down, Obamacare is a great thing. I think  Hillary is about it for 2016.”

On what The East Side Boyz are up to:

“I have no idea, dawg.”
