Early Sunday morning, Chinx was killed when a gunman opened fire on his vehicle in Queens, NY. Immediately, an outpouring of sympathy and memories of Chinx as both a friend and artist spread across Twitter and Instagram — including a lengthy note from Meek Mill on his frustrations with the death of potential.

Several IG posts later, Meek Mill shared what looks to be an in-studio clip of an emotional, spur-of-the-moment Chinx tribute track. According to Meek's caption, the track will supposedly drop as early as today / tonight.

Of course, Meek Mill and Chinx collaborated several times before Sunday's tragic events — most notably on a pair of French Montana tracks, including the Coke Boys 4 intro in 2013.
