Jim Jones & Juelz Santana Denied Entry Into Canada, Say It'll Cost Them $500K

Apparently border security are not Dipset fans.

Sorry, Dipset fans: if you had tickets to see the legendary New York rap crew on the northern leg of their tour, we’ve got bad news—Jim Jones and Juelz Santana were both denied entry into Canada yesterday.

According to the gossip overlords at TMZ, Canadian border security took one look at the criminal history between the two Dipset members, and turned them away in a hurry. Santana’s priors include death threats and terrorist threats, and Jones was previously arrested three times, once for a brawl, once for driving while intoxicated, and once for disorderly conduct. That was enough for the border to send them packing. Cam'ron made it into Canada no problem, however, and delivered a solo performance for fans in Winnipeg last night.

Dipset was set to embark on an 11-date tour with their associate Trav, who vented his frustrations in a now-deleted Instagram post. You can watch a preserved version of the post above, once again, courtesy of the gossip gawdz at TMZ.

Jones told TMZ that they knew they might run into trouble at the border, so they hired lawyers who specialize in immigration before their trip. Despite their best efforts, the tour quickly unraveled.

Jim and Juelz will be frustrated, to say the least—they say the ordeal will cost them around $500,000. That said, it looks like Cam'ron will try to honour the remaining dates on his lonely.
