Kanye West took the stage tonight for his headlining set at Glastonbury. Midway through his performance, he brought Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon to assist him in playing “Lost in the World” off his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. Afterwards, he shared a story of how the song came together. At the time,  he was crazy about a certain woman—who turned about to be his wife Kim Kardashian—and wrote an email to her that started with the song's lyrics “you’re my devil, you’re my angel / you’re my heaven, you’re my hell” and so forth. “She brought out this poetry,” he said. He also praised Vernon for being “one of the baddest white boys on the planet.”

Vernon stuck around to briefly perform “Hold My Liquor” from 'Ye's last album Yeezus. “We did some more joints together,” West said before transitioning into “No Church in the Wild.” Maybe they worked on songs for SWISH? Either way, it's good news. Check back for the full performance video.
