For the first time in two years since the release of Apocalypse, Stephen Burner a.k.a. Thundercat is set to release solo material with his mini-album The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam.  Returning to the Brainfeeder fold after contributing to Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly, Flying Lotus’ You’re Dead! and Kamasi Washington's The Epic, the new mini album will feature six new tracks from the famed singer and bassist.

The first taste arrives today with the release of "Them Changes." Co-Produced By Flying Lotus and featuring Kamasi Washington on saxophone, the song spirals down a funk-streaked path paved with buttery vocals and deep-seated grooves, churning out a soothing, slow-burner to melt into.

Listen to "Them Changes" below and look out for The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam coming this Monday June 22 on Brainfeeder featuring the legendary Herbie Hancock on keyboards along with contributions from fellow Brainfeeder family members Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and Mono/Poly. Look for Thundercat on the road later this year (dates below) including performances at the Low End Theory Festival in Los Angeles and the Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn.

Upcoming Tour Dates:

Aug 01 - 02 Happy Valley, OR - Pickathon Festival @ Pendarvis Farm

Aug 08 Los Angeles, CA – Low End Theory Festival @ Shrine Expo Hall

Aug 23 Brooklyn, NY – Afropunk Festival @ Commodore Barry Park
