50 Cent filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection yesterday, causing people to speculate about whether or not he was really going broke. Back in May, his boxing promotions company, SMS Promotions, also filed for Chapter 11. With all of this going down, we asked a lawyer to explain 50's situation, and it means he's just taking precautionary measures in order to reorganize his assets. Still, all of this is ironic because 50 likes to call out a lot of people for not having money, whether it be on wax or on socials. We dug up some instances when the Queens MC did just that. Check out 8 Times 50 Cent Called Out Other People for Being Broke.

A$AP Rocky

50 and ex Tatted Up Holly had a turbulent relationship. They both traded barbs on social media, leading 50 to apologize to her. But then he found out that Rocky tried to slide up in her DMs. 50 then posted a screenshot below:

I guess 50 felt disrespected because Rocky peeped that the two weren't dating anymore. The Harlem rapper was a little too opportunistic. Can't be mad at him shooting his shot, though.

Floyd Mayweather

50 and Floyd's back-and-forth has been well documented. During the height of their beef, 50 took to Twitter to basically say Money May's manager, Al Haymon, owns him, and that he has more money than Floyd.

Safe to say this isn't the case anymore.

Ghostface and Raekwon

50 has had beef with everybody. Back when 50 was on the come up, he mentioned members of the Wu in his infamous "How to Rob" track. So Ghost and Rae dissed 50 on Ghostface's "Clyde Smith" skit on Supreme Clientele in which the Chef threatens 50 in a distorted voiceHe got at Ghost and Rae about the lyrics on "All That I Got Is You" when they talk about roaches in their cereal boxes growing up. In the freestyle below, 50 goes on a rant towards the end calling them dirty for plucking roaches out of said cereal boxes.

Rick Ross and Fat Joe

50 didn't necessarily call Rick Ross and Fat Joe broke, but he implied that he's wealthier than them. At the end of his diss record "Tia Told Me," he goes on another rant saying, "I just feel like I'm showin' off now! I mean, I'm rich, man! I have disposable cash, I be hangin' out with Russell. We do yoga...to relax!" 50 does what he wants, even if it means filing for bankruptcy so he can avoid being sued.

Another famous rap beef he had was with the Lox. At the end of "I Run New York," a response to Jada's diss record "Checkmate," 50 went on yet another rant threatening to buy Jada's publishing, saying:

"Hey, get Puffy on the phone! Tell him I said, tell that nigga Puffy I said, 'Get out the mirror for a second let me talk to him.' Puffy own the nigga motherfuckin publishing! Tell him I wanna buy the nigga Jadakiss publishing! Nigga still ain't recoup! Awww nigga you in the red, you owe money, nigga! Awww man! Now why you made me put your business in the streets!"

50 Cent is mean. But he's funny, and he's good for the sport. We love you 50. Please don't snatch my chain. My grandmama gave me this chain.

Jim Jones

50 Cent claims to wield tremendous amounts of influence within the industry. Back in 2007, he went on Angie Martinez's show and said Koch Records was a graveyard and that he could stop projects over there. Cam wasn't feeling those comments being that the Diplomats had a deal with Koch at time, so he called in with Koch GM Alan Grunblatt. While the two New York giants argued, Cam brought up album sales asking 50 how much his artists Lloyd Banks and Mobb Deep sold on majors, and then asked how much Jim Jones sold independently. Lloyd and Jim sold the same amount, 300K. But 50 pointed out that, “But Lloyd Banks has more money than Jim Jones, if you want to talk on that level.” This sent Cam into his legendary "Curtis" rant.
