Throughout his career, Eminem has always spoken highly of Tupac Shakur, and everything he has meant to him as an artist and more in life. Now, thanks to some crafty work from a Reddit thread, a heartfelt, hand-written letter and illustration from Eminem to Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, has surfaced, where Em thanks her for everything she has done for him during his career and how much 'Pac inspired him in life. We confirmed with Shady Records that the letter is 100 percent real.

"He was, and still is, the true definition of a ‘Soldier. When I was feeling at my worst (before fame, before Dre) I knew I could put that Tupac tape in, and suddenly, things weren’t so bad," Eminem wrote. It's not clear exactly when Eminem penned this letter to Tupac's mother, but it apparently made its way to the "Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts" in Stone Mountain, Ga., and was also featured in the 2007 book, Tupac Remembered. Read the full letter and check out Em's illustration of 'Pac below.
