During all of the MTV VMAs madness, rumors and screenshots hit social media that led fans to believe that Beyoncé registered six new songs last night. The songs supposedly featured contributions from The-Dream, Babyface, Lil Wayne, Boots, and more, and went along with the previous news that she was working on her sixth studio solo album.
While fans were excited, it actually turns out that the screenshot was fake, and none of those songs were actually registered on or with ASCAP at this time. The source of the screenshot seems to have come from a forum, but rather than provide an actual link to where the songs were registered, it just listed the titles with no source. Twitter user, @LiterallyGod, actually shared a pretty intensive breakdown last night as to why the information listed in the screenshot is fake. Check it out below.
