It seems so long ago already, but maybe you remember when A$AP Rocky rapped some awfully derogatory lines in May about Rita Ora on his last album, A.L.L.A. The raps featured Rocky referring to Ora's "big mouth" on explicit terms and shortly after the album release he backed off the comments, offering, "I'm not saying she's a terrible person, I'm just saying that when I was in a relationship and I did things with her that I wasn't supposed to do." Shortly after that retread he clarified further (though noticeably didn't seem to apologize), telling The Guardian, “The Rita thing was tasteless of me. [But] I’ve got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it.”
Now, Ora has responded in kind herself, mostly brushing off the slight while taking the high road. "I'm not looking at it like 'you're upsetting me' because I don't actually give a shit," she told Hot 97 earlier today, according to Billboard. "I think about it and I don't want people to think it's okay to speak about women like that. That's it." She later added, "I don't care what you say about me. I don't give a flying fuck. That's just how it is, but you know got to keep it moving. I'm very happy with what I do and I'm proud of who I am and what I represent."
