Alessia Cara made waves this summer with the antisocial smash “Here.” As the 19-year-old Brampton, Ontario native prepares to release her debut full length Know It All, we got a look at a new song this week, “Wild Things.” Where “Here” was a reclusive jam, “Wild Things” is an anthem for the outcasts, with Cara preaching individuality through on-point vibrato. Her debut album Know It All drops November 13th via Def Jam/Universal.

Montreal trio The Posterz are grinding hard in advance of the release of their new record, The Junga. We premiered their latest single “Bulaylay” earlier this month, and it’s a celebratory, laid-back ode to a day-in-the-life of Husser, $pirit, and Joey. How do you say “nice vibes” en Francais?

Grimes, “Flesh, Without Blood”

It’s been over three years since eccentric Canadian pop maven Grimes released her GarageBand masterpiece Visions, and after scrapping an entire album along the road to a sophomore effort, we’re finally getting a look at what she’s been up to. A two act music video for a pair of contrasting new songs hit the Internet this week, both of which will be included on the forthcoming Visions follow-up, Art Angels. “Flesh, Without Blood” is an upbeat dream-pop dispatch, with Grimes masquerading as a cowboy angel, among other costumed characters. “Life In The Vivid Dream” showcases her acoustic inclinations against a twisted visual backdrop, with the aforementioned characters all bathing in blood. Very spoopy vibes, just in time for Halloween.
