Last December, we premiered Tunji Ige's The Love Project, the 20-year-old's debut album that he spent crafting "in his spare time" while attending West Chester University. At the time, he told us that the idea behind the project was to simply dictate things he's encountered in his life: "teenage angst, heart break, and common issues of a young black teenager in 2014 and juxtapose these themes with a gritty, street hip-hop album."

He achieved that, and more, and has spent the last few months maintaining the hype around his debut project. This fall, he's heading on tour with Lido and to close out The Love Project, we're excited to debut his new visuals for "Ball Is Life," a standout track on the project.

"'Ball Is Life' is based around the mentality of a young black kid and the idea that 'balling' or entertainment are the main outlets that are preached as ways to escape," Ige told us over email. "The girl tries to escape her circumstances through vanity/drugs. The video, directed by the God Glassfaceis about escaping in different ways, and it closes out the Love Project."

Glassface says the visuals are heavily about how environment influences people and their actions. "Our surroundings influence everything we do—so it's about escaping that notion or succumbing to it, and the consequences of either choice." Watch it above and stream The Love Project below.
