Fetty Wap's breakout year continues with news released today that the "Trap Queen" rapper has signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Billboard reports that the deal will cover the New Jersey artist's initial hit as well as songs on his recently released debut album, Fetty Wap

"It is always refreshing when a new artist comes on the scene with a bunch of hits like Fetty Wap has, so we are thrilled that he has now decided to become part of the Sony/ATV family," the company's CEO, Martin Bandier, said. "With a talent like his, there is no doubt he is both the man for today as well as tomorrow."

According to Billboard, Fetty has raked in 4.7 million downloads in the U.S. alone and saw his debut top the charts last month. Earlier this year, he also broke a record as the first artist ever to have his first four charting singles concurrently in the Top 10 of the Hot Rap Songs Billboard chart.
