After months of build-up, a No. 1 Billboard debut and unpredictable collaborationsJustin Bieber's new album Purpose is here. The album follows a year of rebuilding—personally and professionally—for the singer. Over the last few months, he's linked up with Skrillex and Diplo for the certified platinum hit "Where Are Ü Now?," took the stage at MTV's VMAs and revealed a reborn version of himself on the covers of COMPLEX and Billboard.

Picking up where his previously released tracks left off, Purpose takes Bieber deeper into his fusion of punchy pop and hook-hugging edm woven together through masterful production. Of course, the album also boasts an enviable roster of features including Big Sean, Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran, Skrillex, Diplo, Nas and Ariana Grande.

"It’s hard to make meaningful songs that make you want to dance because it can come off cheesy," Bieber recently told Billboard. "In the past I’ve recorded songs that I didn’t like, that I wouldn’t listen to, that the label was telling me to record. I’m self-expressing with this album -- I can’t skip on the moments that were dark, the moments that were happy, the ex-girlfriend stuff. It makes it real, rather than ‘Let’s call up Max Martin to write you a hit song.’ I want my music to be inspiring.”

Stream below or hit up iTunes to listen to Purpose now. LA, you can catch Bieber tonight at Staples Center for a special album release event. Tickets for Bieber's massive tour go on sale next week.
