Sleigh Bells Accuse Demi Lovato of Sampling Them Without Permission (UPDATE)

They're claiming she sampled their songs on "Stars" without permission.

UPDATE (11/3/15): In a new statement, Demi's producers Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub​ stated "We did not use any samples in Demi Lovato's song "Stars." Demi was also not involved with the production. She only wrote topline." The statement was released through Demi's reps according to Billboard.

Although Demi Lovato​ has been experiencing great success with her new album Confident, there's at least one group who isn't too happy with her. Noise pop band Sleigh Bells took to Twitter today to point out that they believe Lovato's "Stars" samples two of the group's songs ("Infinity Guitars" and "Riot Rhythym") without their permission. Although they were "flattered" by the sample, they were also upset that they had not been contacted before the song's release.

Both songs are from the band's 2010 album Treats. So far, there's been no public comment from Lovato about the issue. All three songs are embedded below.  Check them out and let us know if you think they have a point in the comments below.
