Bobby Shmurda was in court today, and he once again was denied bail, according to Fader. This is now the seventh time Shmurda has been denied bail since he was arrested over a year ago. According to the report, Judge Abraham Clott saw no "substantive change" in the case where he would consider bail. Shmurda's new attorney, Alex Spiro, told Fader that both he and Shmurda's family are "frustrated" with the decision and the case. At one point in December, it looked like Shmurda would be released on bail based on the property his family put up as part of the package, but like every other attempt, that was denied.

"Everyone keeps reporting the bail has been denied, five, six, seven times, and I don't care if we have to do it 50 times because at some point the truth and what's right will come about," Spiro said during the court hearing.

Earlier this month, Spiro requested case files and background information on the officers involved in Shmurda's arrest, but it's unclear if he's been granted them. Shmurda will make his next appearance in court in February, where he will face a judge regarding the charges stemming from his rumored girlfriend trying to sneak him a knife in prison. We'll continue to update this story as more details become available.
