Over the weekend, a couple of New Yorkers paid tribute to the late David Bowie by unofficially renaming Bowery street "David Bowery." The people involved were reportedly part of The L.I.S.A. Project, a local collective of artists who create murals around the city, and they documented the sign change on Instagram. The street was unofficially changed to "David Bowery" Saturday night as winter storm Jonas ravaged the city and kept many New Yorkers inside. This comes only a few days after Jan. 20 was officially named David Bowie Day in NYC
