On Friday, Kanye West revived his G.O.O.D. Fridays campaign with “Real Friends” after a few delays uploading the song on SoundCloud. The track is a departure from “Facts,” and more in the lane of ‘Ye from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

One of the interesting things about “Real Friends” and its accompanying “No More Parties In LA” snippet is the song that plays right after. SoundCloud’s algorithm added an unknown rapper's single released last week to the Related Tracks feature randomly. Rory Fresco’s “Lowkey” started off with a few thousand plays and has now jumped to over 200,000 plays and counting.

“I have no idea how this happened,” Fresco told Pigeons & Planes via email.  “It was random. Had no idea it would grow to this. I got girls from middle school hitting me up lmao. I’m a huge fan of Kanye and also Cudi… I’m inspired. I just wanna show the world more of my creations from my bedroom in the basement.”

Fresco, who is 18 years old and from Kansas City, Missouri, is grateful for getting all this attention for his music. Check out “Lowkey” below, and look out for his debut release Hollywood Rebel coming soon. For more Fresco, head over to his SoundCloud.
