Steven Tyler is back in NYC to promote his latest single "Love Is Your Name," but the current blizzard going on in the East Coast has kept him indoors. It’s not all bad for Tyler, as he’s spending time with his family until the snow storm passes so he can make his appearance on Howard Stern on Monday.

CNN caught up with the Aerosmith singer and his daughter for a brief interview about how he plans on weathering the storm. The best part comes in the second video, where he gives some sage advice for New Yorkers who are not taking the storm seriously.

"Stay home," he said. "Two words: hot chocolate."

That doesn’t sound bad at all, Steven. Throw in Netflix and a blizzard buddy and you’re set.
