Young Thug sat down with Angie Martinez in New York's Power 105 studio to chat about upcoming projects and past experiences. Since the rapper doesn't do interviews often, this recording is a special treat and gives fans better insight into the persona of a man they've followed through a handful of mixtapes and 2015's Barter 6 album.

In addition to giving the heads up on new releases to look forward to like Slime Season 3 in February, a new album some time this year, and an eight-song EP in collaboration with Fetty Wap, Thug talked about getting in the studio with Kanye West. Although he couldn't reveal much about the tracks or when we'll get to hear them due to confidentiality papers he signed with Kanye, he did say that there are 40 collaborative songs on the table.

Young Thug also touched on the suspected beef with Lil Wayne around his Barter 6 debacle. He said he felt down because of the issues that it caused, and said he was planning on naming the songs after Weezy's kids as an homage to the rapper he looks up to so much.

At one point, Young Thug declares that he's from another planet. He goes so far as to say he was hoping to get a sign from his true home when he traveled overseas because it's closer to his other planet on that side of the world. So, there's also that.
