Jacuzzi Lafleur: forever the Golden Child, now he’s the Prince. It’s only February—correction, Fleurbuary—and 2016 already belongs to Jazz Cartier. Just days after dropping Hotel Paranoia, the Toronto rapper treated a sold-out hometown crowd to an electrifying 2+ hour set at the Phoenix Concert Hall on Friday. As Jacuzzi ran through brand new cuts like “Talk Of The Town” and “Opera,” as well as fan favourites such as “New Religion” and “Dead Or Alive,” the crowd thrashed along, riding a wave that’s been years in the making. All in all, it was a homecoming fit for a Prince.

Below, you can check out some photos of Jazz Cartier from his appearance at the Phoenix on Friday, February 5th. All photography by Vanessa Heins.
