Cozz Drops More Fire With "Let 'Em Know"

A loosie that didn't make it on 'Nothin Personal.'

Dreamville is poised to takeover 2016 with their growing roster of talent. At the end of 2015, the label signed Ari Lennox and Lute to join labelmates Bas, Omen and Cozz. Building off that momentum, they released Revenge of the Dreamers II, followed by two new projects by Cozz and Bas—Nothin Personal and Too High to Riot. There's enough music out for fans to keep a steady rotation of Dreamville projects.

Earlier today, Cozz kept his promise of dropping more music this year with “Let ‘Em Know.” Produced by Meez (who was behind “Dreams”), he provides a dark beat for Cozz to deliver some sharp storytelling rhymes about the hustle. He’s even singing here too, which a sign of his growth that he mentioned in our interview during SXSW.

“I just feel like I know my talent. I know how far I can go. I know what I can do as an artist. I was just trying to show out. Even with the singing shit, in Cozz & Effect, I gave you a hint of it on the song “LSN.” Little songs like that I give you a hint of me singing, but [Nothin Personal] I was feeling more melodic.”
