Fetty Wap's self-titled debut album has been certified platinum by the RIAA for reaching the marker of one million combined units sold, streamed, and downloaded. The huge achievement is one of many that the rapper has accomplished following the immense success of his debut album.

He's has had one of the biggest years in music, receiving both critical and commercial success. In 2015, his inescapable single “Trap Queen” went quadruple-platinum and was the most streamed song on Spotify in the U.S. In addition to that, “My Way” went platinum and “679” went double platinum. Fetty even kicked off 2016 with two Grammy nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. While he didn't win either one, it's doubtful this is the last time we'll be seeing his name brought up at the award show.

Fetty shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. He is currently on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour with Post Malone, collaborator and friend Monty, and the Zoo Gang. Even better, Fetty continues to show his appreciation for his fans. Earlier this week, he invited the young fan he inspired to go without his prosthetic eye backstage to meet at his Denver show. Before that, he sent a very special message to a fan battling a brain injury. He also is using his success to take care of his own and surprised his fellow Remy Boy, Monty, with a new BMW this past Christmas. There's no doubt that everyone loves to see him win. Keep doing you, Fetty. Be sure to catch Fetty on tour now and look out for his second full-length album that's scheduled to arrive later this year via RGF/300 Entertainment.
