It Looks Like Missy Elliott and Bruno Mars Recently Hit the Studio Together

It looks like Missy Elliott and Bruno Mars are cooking up something in the studio together. Missy posted some pictures of the two artists spending some quality time together. "Had a blast vibing wit my fam @BrunoMars @ the studio! Good Vibes He got some 🔥 ! He such a rare gem! Big up Sunny 🙌!" Missy shared on Twitter.

The rapper went even deeper into their session with a similar post on Instagram writing, "Big up to @brunomars I had a blast with him in the studio vibing!#magic He such a rare gem & such a humble spirit! I am so humbled & grateful Bruno🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 We laughed & laughed the whole night then he played me some 🔥ass songs 4 his album Whewwww😅 #INCREDIBLE! 🚀It's so inspiring to vibe with ppl who can create real music & have a creative mind! Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what they're cooking up—yet. Missy said that Bruno played her some of his new songs, but it's hard not to wonder if they were messing around with some potential ideas for Missy as well since their mutual friend Pharrell Williams is already working with Missy on her new project. Most recently, the rapper dropped her Pharrell collaboration track "WTF (Where They From)" and celebrated her Super Bowl performance with her sports-centric banger, "Pep Rally."

She has said that her follow-up to 2005's The Cookbook could come this year. “I want to say 2016 but I don’t want to give a time," she noted in an interview in late 2015 with Billboard. Missy and Bruno in the studio can only mean good things. Now, all we can do is wait for Missy's new comeback album that the world is more than ready for.
