Meek Mill might still be under house arrest, but that's not stopping him from working on new music. It is, however, stopping him from releasing it. The Philly rapper previewed a new track called "Trust Me" today on Instagram, and it sounds like it's a heater. The catchy song features Rick Ross and Chris Brown. Unfortunately for Meek, it's unlikely to make it onto Spotify anytime soon.

The reason: the rules of his house arrest. Although a judge recently cleared Meek to record and release more music, he's currently only able to drop songs for free. That means if he wants his fans to have "Trust Me" anytime in the foreseeable future, he would have to give it away. According to his Instagram caption, that's not going to happen. "I can't drop this shit for free 🤔 #another1," he wrote.

So, while it looks like the track will be sitting on the shelf for now, at least we know he's still cooking up new music. Hopefully the hiatus will allow him to come up with something nice for the fans. Plus, Dreamchasers 4 is supposedly on the way soon, which should help satisfy them for a bit.

In the meantime, you can check out a snippet of "Trust Me," as well as another unreleased song, below via Meek's Instagram.
