Fresh off the release of his new album The Colour in Anything, James Blake returns today with the official video for his single "I Need a Forest Fire." The song features Bon Iver, and Blake gives it a unique visual treatment. The artists only briefly appear in the video behind the shadows; the majority of it involves a single light rotating around sculptures and other artwork. This includes a deconstructed mask, an orb, a rose, and a flock of flying insects. Although simple, the video's esthetic matches that of the pulsating, contemplative track.

"I Need a Bonfire" is the latest single from The Colour in AnythingBlake's first album since 2013's Overgrown. The project was anticipated by fans for quite some time before finally dropping last Thursday. Originally thought to be called Radio Silence, Blake revealed the title and cover art with a series of murals in London and Brooklyn last week. He recruited Roald Dahl collaborator Quentin Blake to paint the album's cover. Bon Iver is the only feature, as Blake's promise of a Kanye West collaboration on the album never came to pass. With the release of his own album, Blake also teased fans about Frank Ocean's next project, which he helped him write on. "He is onto something, he really is," Blake said in an interview without giving too much away. Of course, Ocean and Blake also worked on The Colour in Anything, which Blake said helped them become really good friends.
