The issues between Lil Wayne and Birdman seem to be as serious as ever, and according to TMZ, won't be going away anytime soon. According to the report, Wayne has no current plans to drop his lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records and all previous settlement talks are off the table. The report states Wayne is mostly still upset because Birdman still refuses to release his long-awaited album, Tha Carter V, which has now been on the shelf for a few years.

The timing of this report is interesting, especially since footage of Wayne saying "Fuck Cash Money" at a recent show in Denver surfaced online on Monday. Of course, Wayne and Birdman's feud has been ongoing for a few years now, but they seemed to be making strides in the right direction back in January when they reconciled in Miami for New Year's Eve. However, nothing has happened since then and it appears Wayne has once again become tired of both Birdman and the label. Interestingly enough, Wayne tweeted last week asking for freedom and prayers, which in hindsight, seems to have been about his label situation.

At the moment, Wayne is possibly working on a Dedication 6 mixtape with DJ Drama, and also appeared on Chance the Rapper's Coloring Book project, as well as a remix of Drake's VIEWS track, "Hype." But yet, no sign of Carter V and no sign of this situation ending anytime soon. We've reached out to reps for Lil Wayne and will update the story as more details become available.
