Drake has been holding the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot 200 charts with "One Dance" and Views, but today he makes history as only the second male ever to have the No. 1 song and album in the country for seven weeks. He ties none other than Michael Jackson who was the only other male artist to accomplish the same feat back in 1983 with "Billie Jean" and Thriller. The Beatles and Whitney Houston are the only two other acts in the chart's history to ever achieve this, so clearly this is elite territory Drake is standing in now. What a historic time to be alive.

The monumental moment is even bigger when you consider that Drake didn't have a No. 1 song as a solo male artist until Views' "One Dance" finally earned him the honor for the first time back in May. Views has also achieved its own milestone as the hip-hop album with the third-most weeks at No. 1, beating out Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP. Vanilla Ice's To the Extreme and MC Hammer's Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em are the only two albums that have spent more time at the top spot with 16 weeks and 21 weeks, respectively.

Elsewhere on the chart, Desiigner's "Panda" slides into the No. 4 spot, but continues to hold at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart for 13 weeks and the No. 1 spot on the streaming chart for 11 weeks. The numbers are proof that Desiigner's breakout hit is clearly having its moment, but we have to give it up for Drake who definitely continues to smash all records and expectations with his latest release. Hopefully, someone in the OVO crew is passing the news onto Drake right now so that he and Rihanna can plot what club they want to hit up to celebrate now that they are reportedly dating again.
