If you're not up on the duo known as HWLS, you've been sleeping on the bass music streets. HWLS, aka Ta-ku and Justin Elwin (the artist formerly known as Kit Pop), most recently worked with Ty Dolla $ign on "Plays," a song they made from scratch, but the HWLS legacy goes back further than that intoxicating collab. HWLS had been releasing a number of remixes and numbered bangers, as well as a self-titled four-track EP in 2014. For heads who love their 808s loud and in your face underneath tracks that touch certain spots in your soul, HWLS is everything.

The hype is real, with HWLS going on tour with Flume in the U.S. this August, along with some festival dates for later in the year, so why not hit the people with a beast of a tune? In steps "GAMMA," a relentless slice of anthemic electronic beauty. Built around a simple, hypnotic melody, "GAMMA" increases the pressure with a cavalcade of kicks accenting the melody while the punishing bass does the rest. It's happy, thought-provoking material, perfect for warm afternoons full of debauchery.

If you're digging this, we'd recommend you checking out "005," then keeping your ear to the ground, listening intently for HWLS' next move. It'll probably come sooner than you think.
