Justin Bieber's Purpose tour rolled into Orlando, Florida, Friday, and during the concert the pop star took a moment to honor the victims of the recent Pulse Nightclub shooting. While sitting down on the stage and singing the title track off his most recent album, a video played in the background listing off all of the names of the people who had been killed in the deadliest mass shooting in American history. The list finally ended with the name Christina Grimmie, who was shot and killed by a deranged stalker after performing a show in Orlando just days before the massacre at Pulse.

Shortly after the shooting took place last month on June 12, Bieber quickly took to Twitter to not only proclaim that he stands with the city of Orlando, but also to reassure his devoted fans that his planned concert would go on in spite of all the violence the city has been subjected to recently.

For all those asking no I won't cancel the Orlando show. I stand with Orlando in support. Love you Orlando! #OrlandoStrong

After the show ended, Bieber once again took to Twitter to thank his Florida fans for coming out and encouraged them to be themselves. He ended the tweet with the hashtag #OrlandoStrong.

Thank you for tonight. Don't ever be afraid to be yourself. #OrlandoStrong pic.twitter.com/ezvQT2g4nk
