M.I.A. comes through Thursday with her new song "Go Off." She enlists Skrillex and Blaqstarr who lend their brand of artistry to the track to create one new world. Premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show as the host's Hottest Record, the track is a slippery slope of flammable electronics and glitched-out production that finds M.I.A. unleashing her fury for those that question her unspeakable focus to her craft.

"This is my first Radio 1 thing in a long time," noted M.I.A. when she hopped on the phone with Mac between plays of her song. She said she does have a project in the works and that the song will be on her forthcoming project she is calling Aim, which she revealed will drop on September 9. "It's kinda got mad people kinda coming together on it. It's the cleanest album I have," she added. When Mac asked her to clarify exactly what she meant by "clean," M.I.A. responded, "There's no complains on it...There's another side to me completely." Previously, her new album Matahdatah seemed to be having problems finding a release, but it sounds like the celebrated artist might be taking a whole new direction with this new project.

M.I.A. also confirmed this project will likely be her last official album release because she wants to do some other things in the future. Thankfully, she still plans on making music in the future even after she releases Aim.
