Space Gang, a producer from Philadelphia, Pa., has shared an unreleased song from 2013 featuring Chance the Rapper, Towkio, and Kami De Chukwu.

“You a Bitch” starts off with the intro dialogue from Nas and AZ’s “Life’s a Bitch,” setting up Chance for a boastful hook: “When I say bitch I don’t mean a bitch/But speaking of bitches I’m with your bitch/And you ain’t no shit cause yous a bitch.”

There are also additional contributions by Towkio and Kami De Chukwu, but this sounds mostly like a Chance record, although Space Gang notes it is unfinished. Chance's verse contains a lot of slick lines, especially this one: “Coming through like lasers when I’m trying to laser beam.” At one point, he talks about taking acid (“I be drippin’ when I’m off the fuckin’ acid), which could mean he recorded this song during the time of his widely acclaimed mixtape, Acid Rap. He admitted to MTV News that there was “a lot of acid involved” during the making of the tape, and the bar could be a result of staying under the influence to rap.

Fast forward to 2016, and Chance has grown into one of the biggest independent rappers in the genre. In his recent cover story for Billboard, he noted the reason why he chooses to give away his first projects for free. “It’s not about the music being free," he says. "It’s about how it is displayed and made accessible and about artistic power." He also talks about his Xanax addiction and why he wasn’t making enough music. You can read his responses here.
