Earlier this week, Drake made headlines when he brought out Eminem during his "Summer Sixteen" tour stop in Detroit, which all but squashed any rumors that the two had some kind of beef. While the focus was on Drake and Eminem, it looks like Drizzy may have premiered some new music during the official after-party in the city. Thanks to some crafty detective work from the forum KTT, a few snippets from the night have surfaced, which include what sounds like some new songs from Drake.

Of course, Drake tends to keep all news of his new music a secret as long as he can, but he did announce during an earlier "Summer Sixteen" show that he was working on a new mixtape. At the time it was unclear if he was talking about a new solo effort or the upcoming collab project with Gucci Mane, which Zaytoven recently revealed was definitely in the works. Whatever the case, it certainly appears as if even more new music from Drake is on the way, despite the fact that he dropped one of the most successful albums in recent memory just a few months back.

Even more interesting is that Drake's good friend, Odell Beckham Jr., may have teased some lyrics from the upcoming release on Instagram a few days back. "Fake people showing fake love to me straight up to my facceee....," Beckham wrote in the caption that also included Drake's Instagram name. Naturally, fans are speculating that the timing of new Drake snippets are coinciding with the mysterious tweets from producers Boi-1da and Vinylz, who have worked with Drizzy extensively in the past. Whether or not it's all tied together remains to be seen, but it seems like we may know the answer soon enough.
