Fat Joe and Remy Ma already had one of 2016's biggest surprise comebacks with "All the Way Up" featuring French Montana. It even snagged a high-profile remix by Jay Z shortly after the LEMONADE controversy. Now, they're looking to take things to the next level by not messing with the formula. To that end, the pair again recruited French Montana, this time along with latin rapper Ry So Valid for their new single "Cookin."

Joe and Remy are gearing up for the release of their joint album Platas o Plomo, Spanish for "money or bullets." The set doesn't have a release date yet, but Joe spoke very highly of the project in an interview with the RapRadar podcast back in March. “The album is the best album coming out,” he said. “It should give inspiration to everybody in New York City. This shit is phenomenal. Remy’s gonna be rated top. They gonna ask to see if she’s the best rapper on Earth, male or female. That’s how bad she’s going on this album. It’s so fucking incredible, when people hear this album, this shit is so fuckin’ crazy. I feel like God blessed us…It’s like if Snoop or Dre did a new album. Kanye and Jay Z did a new album.”

We'll have to see if the project can live up to these lofty expectations, but it's definitely something to keep an eye out for. You can stream Fat Joe, Remy Ma, French Montana, and Ry So Valid's "Cookin" below via Tidal.
