During a sit-down with VladTV, Zaytoven revealed more information about the rumored upcoming project from Drake and Gucci Mane. According to him, the project is real and it's in the process of being worked on right now. "We were shooting a video for '[Guwop] Home' and Drake just showed up... Gucci and Drake started talking. You know how Gucci is," said Zaytoven, noting that Gucci asked Drake right away to put out a project together. "Right then they started thinking about a name," Zay recalled.

According to Zay, Drake came up with the idea to name it The 6ers, "Where he's from he calls it the six, and then Gucci Mane is from Zone 6." Both he and Mike WiLL Made-It have already laid down tracks for it. "We had started recording songs that same day, I know that we got two songs concrete for sure songs that will go for the project. I don't know for sure it's going to be me and [Mike] doing the whole thing, if somebody else is gonna be a producer on it, or if I'mma do one by myself and Mike do one by himself. We don't really know that for sure, just as long as the songs match up together."

Drake was one of the first people Gucci Mane worked with after he left prison, recruiting him for the track "Back On Road." Zaytoven had previously discussed the project on his Twitter, but wasn't quite as solid on the details at that point. Hopefully, we'll see the project finished up and available for us to listen to soon. You can watch Zaytoven's whole interview in the video above.
