Anticipation was running high for the G.O.O.D. Music pop-up show on Wednesday night at New York City's Highline Ballroom. The show, which quickly sold out, was supposed to feature Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, Migos, Desiigner, Tyga, and Flat White (a.k.a. Virgil Abloh) as performers.

Attendees found out shortly after arriving that this event that this show was meant to be a makeup performance for Kanye West's failed attempt to play Webster Hall in June. That show was canceled due to the overwhelming crowds that appeared once word got out.

This time, crowd control was much more organized. Police closed off the blocks surrounding the venue, and only let ticketholders through.

Rumors that Kanye West (who was not billed) was actually in the buidling started early.

After a DJ set from Abloh (who stayed behind the decks the whole evening), the first performer of the night was Desiigner, fresh off of his performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the previous evening.

Migos and 2 Chainz were up next. Then Pusha T hit the stage to do "Numbers on the Board" and "New God Flow." Pharrell Williams joined King Push for "Mr. Me Too."

One highlight of the evening was when Teyana Taylor came onstage and danced to Kanye's "Fade," just like she does in the video. She even re-created the Iman make-out scene.

A tuxedo-clad Swizz Beatz came out to perform his parts on "So Appalled" and, for some reason, Lloyd Banks' "Start It Up."

After that, Kanye finally showed up in black t-shirt and gold chain.

He announced that Tyga is officially a G.O.O.D. Music signee.

The "Rack City" rapper, sporting red hair and a hooded jacket, then performed a song with Desiigner.

Tyga then broke into—you guessed it—"Rack City." That led somehow to Desiigner taking the mic back to perform an a capella "Tiimmy Turner," while Kanye stood at the back of the stage grinning, before taking the mic to do his verse on the remix.

Yeezy did a short solo set consisting of "See Me Now" and "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1." During the set, a very hyped Desiigner ended up in the crowd and lost both his shirt and his shoes. The loss of the latter seemed to cause him some distress, as he took the mic to demand that they be returned. "Give me my motherfucking shoes back," he said. "I ain't going nowhere without my shoes."

Migos came back after the announcement that they were now signed to "G.O.O.D. Music Management." They did "Hannah Montana." The Memphis' finest, Yo Gotti, showed up to perform "Down in the DM."

Desiigner, who hopefully had his motherfucking shoes back (though that could not be confirmed at this writing), returned to perform "Panda."

Swizz Beatz returned to accompany Kanye on "Famous."

Then the G.O.O.D. Music founder rapped his part of ScHoolboy Q's "THat Part."

After that, the night turned into less of a concert and more of a group dance party, as the assembled artists stood onstage while Abloh spun songs by Young Thug, Kanye, and others.
