Fresh off house arrest and the release of "Bling Blaww Burr" from his new Woptober album, Gucci Mane landed at Hot 97 for a thorough chat with Funkmaster Flex. The Atlanta titan's had a hell of a year, meaning he had plenty to discuss with Flex. In addition to some insight on the Woptober creative process, Gucci also hit fans with an update on his relationship with Waka Flocka Flame and his ongoing collaborative spirit with Drake.

"I love collaborating," Gucci said of his upcoming collab plans. "I love working with people. I like the young people. Maybe like 21 Savage. Young M.A. These are all people who I'm just now meeting or I've never even met. Lil Uzi Vert. Lil Yachty. Anybody who hot and the kids say he hot, I think it's hot. That's how I do it. I embrace anything that's new." As for Waka, Gucci clarified that he hasn't spoken with him in several years. "It's just done," Gucci explained. "I wish him well."

Woptober is expected Oct. 17 (when else?), just months after Gucci dropped the critically acclaimed Everybody Looking. "Bling Blaww Burr" hit the masses just this week, featuring Young Dolph. The 14-track album also features collaborations with Rick Ross and Travi$ Scott. Last month, Gucci released his Zaytoven collab EP GucTiggy.

Gucci was spotted on Snapchat this week cutting off his ankle monitor, seemingly in celebration of the end of his house arrest. Enjoy September while you can, non-Gucci performers. October is clearly Gucci Mane's month.
