Justin Timberlake already scored one of the songs of the summer with "Can't Stop the Feeling," and now he's back with another jam from the Trolls movie soundtrack. This time, JT links up with co-star Anna Kendrick for a rendition of the classic song "True Colors." Originally popularized by Cyndi Lauper, "True Colors" finds Timberlake and Kendrick combining forces to sing the touching ballad.

Timberlake is serving as the executive producer of the soundtrack, which features Ariana Grande, Gwen Stefani, Earth, Wind & Fire, Zooey Deschanel, and more. "I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls," Timberlake told The Hollywood Reporter back in March. The new music from the film represents the singer's first musical releases since The 20/20 Experience back in 2013.

Hopefully, Timberlake's work on Trolls will inspire him to get moving on his solo music. A while back, he told Carson Daily, "I don't know exactly when I'm going to put it out, but yeah, I’m definitely working on a new album."

In addition to his work on the soundtrack, Timberlake will also be voicing the character Branch. He joins a star-studded cast of voice actors, including James Corden, Chloë Grace Moretz, Russell Brand, Jeffery Tambor, Quvenzhané Wallis, and John Cleese, as well as Kendrick, Stefani, and Deschanel. The film is based on the long-popular line of toys.

Trolls is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4. While you wait for the movie to drop, you can purchase Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick's "True Colors" and pre-order the Trolls soundtrack on iTunes here. You can also stream the song on Spotify below.
