UPDATED 10/20/16 2:34 p.m. ET: RZA, who was at the party where the alleged hotel fight between Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe went down, has remained silent on the incident—until now. In a Facebook post, RZA is speaking out about Banks' rumored deal with RZA and what went down that night in his own words. "Before the night is over Azealia is insulting half the room she becomes loud and obnoxious. There was nothing funny about her behavior. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest," he says. You can read his full note below.

RZA also jumped on TMZ Live to give some more details on the night.

See original story below.

Azealia Banks has leveled some serious claims at Russell Crowe following an alleged fight in his hotel room in Beverly Hills, California last weekend, and now it appears her working relationship with RZA might be on the rocks as well. We already knew that Banks was in the process of signing with RZA after she posted about their "excellent working chemistry" on Facebook. But it seems that the deal may not happen as a result of what took place between Banks and Crowe. According to a report from TMZ, Banks told RZA's rep that their record deal was off on Tuesday because she felt betrayed by his reaction to the spat with Crowe.

Banks was at Crowe's hotel suite in the first place as a guest of RZA, but the Wu-Tang rapper hasn't come out publicly to defend her. Sources tell TMZ that's because he thinks she was in the wrong. Although she claims Crowe assaulted her and called her the n-word, others say that she was the aggressor, mocking one of Crowe's party guests and threatening to throw a drinking glass. Both parties are awaiting the release of hotel security camera footage that they claim will back up their sides of the story.

Regardless of the status of her deal with RZA, it looks like Banks is prepared to move forward with releasing new music. In a lengthy Instagram post she published late Tuesday night, Banks promised that this would be "the last time I will be in the news for anything negative" and said that she would be releasing a "So Ghetto" freestyle on Wednesday.
