You can't deny that 2016 has been a great year for Cashmere Cat. The Norwegian DJ/Producer kicked things off in a major way contributing to Kanye West's The Life of Pablo standout "Wolves." In September, he unleashed a new single "Trust Nobody" featuring Selena Gomez, and now he's back at it again with a hot new track titled "Throw Myself a Party," featuring 2 Chainz and Tory Lanez.

"Throw Myself a Party" is the latest preview of Cashmere Cat's debut studio album Wild Love. He announced the album back in February, but there's yet to be a fixed date for its release.

hi im very very excited to tell you I've been working very hard on my first album and it feels like the best music I've ever done 🕊

Cashmere Cat actually has a pretty long history with both 2 Chainz and Tory Lanez. On Lanez’ latest album I Told You, the producer and Benny Blanco put together the instrumental for the song “Luv,” a dancehall-inspired single that did pretty well on the charts. The Toronto rapper also provided a guest verse on "Trust Nobody."

As for his link to 2 Chainz, Cashmere Cat made a name for himself back in 2012 with his remix of Tity Boi's song "No Lie." It was the success of that song that helped the producer get a bigger share of the spotlight and draw the attention of Benny Blanco, his longtime collaborator, who invited him to L.A. the following year and established him as a success in America.
