Kanye West is one of the true visionaries of the music world—the kind of artist who can "skate on the paradigm and shift it when I feel like." When you're as forward-thinking as he is, both in terms of music and visual elements, copycats will inevitably attempt to take your ideas and use them as their own. Yeezy isn't down for that.

At the most recent stop in Alberta last night along his ongoing Saint Pablo Tour, West took a moment to call out rappers who have copied his stage designs. "This the original, accept no imitations," West declared in the middle of performing his song "Freestyle 4." "You with the rap God right now. N****s be copying my shit bro. Stealin' our shit, stealin' stages. Copying our shit one-to-one."

While its hard to tell exactly who West may have been referring to in his attack, people have speculated that there's a similarity between Drake's use of overhanging lights during his Summer Sixteen tour this year, wondering aloud whether or not he got the idea from Kanye. The use of lights is similar in many ways to the one that West used throughout 2015, and most notably at Glastonbury and during Drake's own annual OVO Festival. The fact that he picked Canada to make such a declaration has also gotten many people thinking.
