A major curve ball was thrown at the simmering feud between Drake and Kid Cudi after it was revealed that the Drizzy's latest song "Two Birds, One Stone," in which he takes a shot at Cudder, was co-written and produced by none other than Kanye West.

In the new track from Drake's upcoming "Playlist Project" More Life, the 6 God called out Kid Cudi by rapping, "My numbers out of this world, no wonder they got me feeling so alienated/You were the man on the moon, now you just go through your phases/Life of the angry and famous." The diss appeared to be Drake's response to Cudi's calling him out in a tweet.

A wave of blacklash hit Drake for clapping back at Cudder, who is currently checked into rehab for depression and suicidal urges. In a note with fans, the rapper said that "anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it... I dont trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace. I deserve to be happy and smiling."

Kanye West's involvement is especially interesting given his most recent support for his former G.O.O.D. Music label mate. Last month, West called Cudi "the most influential artist of the last 10 years." More recently, he implored his fans to sing "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" in the singer's honor during a recent stop on his Saint Pablo tour. However even with the credit, it's yet to be seen how involved he was in the writing process, or if he was even aware of the offending remark.

Cudi later responded to Drake with a tweet where he called him a p---y and said, "You think it's a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I'll be out soon. Promise."

@Drake Say it to face, pussy. You think it's a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I'll be out soon. Promise.
