MØ’s “Drum” just dropped this week on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, and it’s the perfect song to start off your weekend.

The Danish singer and songwriter collaborated with co-writers Charli XCX, BloodPop (f/k/a Blood Diamonds), and Noonie Bao. The vibrant tune has the potential to rock dance floors everywhere, as MØ’s sensual lyrics about love and life will certainly hit home for many. The chorus is also irresistibly catchy. (Maybe we have Charlie XCX to thank for that?) MØ’s even created a hashtag (#beatofmy) just so you can share with your friends how much you’re feeling it.

“Drum” follows “Final Song,” which came out in May. In a press release, MØ talked about how that song came together:

None

As a guest artist, she was on “Cold Water” with Major Lazer and Justin Bieber.

Currently, MØ is diligently putting the finishing touches on her next album that’s slated for this year. It’ll follow her 2014 effort No Mythologies to Follow.

Listen to “Drum” below.
